About Brinn

Turning Trauma into Teaching

After growing up in a very loving, yet chaotic and traumatizing household, I dealt with depression, anxiety, brain fog, migraines, anger issues, self-harm, substance abuse, unhealthy relationships and eating disorders.

I was a poster child for trauma, dressed as a middle-class, shy, polite, athletic kid.

But in college, after another crazy, drunken outburst I don’t remember, it was clear I needed help.

Now, 15 years later, I’ve spent my entire adult life healing my past and creating a life of supporting others as a licensed psychotherapist and coach.

Along my journey I’ve found there is not a one-size-fits-all magic cure.

Some of my favorite tools include, yoga, meditation, EFT tapping, breath work, Inner Child and Inner Critic work, gut health nutrition, walking, astrology, journaling, singing and dancing (Don’t worry, I don’t make my clients do all of them!)

But the most fulfilling part of my life has been becoming the person that I needed when I was young. So, for the last decade I’ve been a educator, speaker, writer, mentor, advocate, coach, and podcast-host, to spread awareness about mental health and healing.

If there’s any way I can support through therapy, coaching, writing or speaking, please reach out! Let’s schedule a connection call to figure out what’s possible together!
