Yoga and Spirituality with Tyler Langdale

This week Tyler Langdale, Sacramento native and owner of Yoga Shala Sacramento and Radical Retreats joins us to talk about yoga, community, spirituality and travel. After waking up in Sacramento on Sunday morning and learning of the yet another tragic mass shooting in our own downtown, this previously recorded episode feels appropriate.

Tyler (my older brother) and I chat about what helps us get through and make sense of hard situations and move forward with less fear. We explore the importance of living out one’s purpose and doing the inner work necessary in order to grow, shift and change.

Tyler describes how our upbringing in the religion of Christian Science helped lay the foundation for his study of yogic philosophy in his early 20s. This ultimately led to him opening Yoga Shala almost 12 years ago, which he co-owns with his wife and her sister.
